No picnic in the park
More and more rain again today - lunch will have to be indoors! Here at The Strand, picture taken from the first floor balcony.
You have some great photos here Nathalie. You have a good eye for interesting compositions. Amazingly I have a very similar version of this photo taken a year ago. Have a look here
Hi Paul, I saw your photo and it is so clear you could count the hair on the heads of the two girls. Brilliant ! My camera is not so good - but what I was really interested in was the pattern in the pavement, which isn't apparent in your picture.
Yes Nathalie the floor pattern is an interesting subject, I was going for the unusual angle on the diners. It's funny because I also have a shot of the stained glass window too (different pane) in my November archive. Great minds and all that:-) The strand has such a lovely interior.
Excellent vantage. I like how they look all huddled around their food, as in years past people would huddle around a fire. The tile work is nice too. —San Antonio DP

great angle! ..those tiles are lovely :)
It is perfect ..you have a beautiful eye.
It is like a theatre play.
The white shirts against the patterned floor adds a great deal to the composition.
Nathalie, here are you doing it again. Great perspective and having three men is great. I love the pattern on the floor too.
