Dizzy

You wouldn't dream of living here, would you? Yet we are right on the edge of Circular Quay, most of these buildings are four and five star hotels and from these windows guests afford expansive views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. It's all about what a photo shows... or hides. I suspect none of these hotels would want to use my photo in their brochures - what do you think?

Its an interesting "abstract" approach but i think these hotels probably prefer to who its potential guess the views from the room rather than the views to the rooms =)
I took a similar photo when I was in Boston but it was a night shot - came out similar to yours - nice idea!

your photo dimensioned very graphic. that can like the hotels. all in top it must indeed have an exceptional sight. you have the right to go up into high and to take a photograph?

Yes Olivier, one of those days I will go up to the restaurant and bar on the last floor and take a picture of the view from there. It's spectacular!

Inside looking out, I'm sure - great.
Outside looking to that - scary

City geometry - Great shot!

Best wishes

Great name for the post. That's exactly what I felt when I first saw it. The similar shapes, colours and lines confuse your head!

Oh for the days when one could talk about progress without sometimes finding yourself inwardly flinching.
