How fast are you going now?

Posted by PicasaFriday lunch time. As I walk through the lobby of Fairfax House (home of the Sydney Morning Herald), I find the delightful scene above. 'I've slowed down to enjoy the journey' says the wise Aboriginal lady to her turtle friend. The young man in the comfortable armchair has followed her advice. Maybe it's an appropriate time to ask ourselves: How fast are we going now? Should we slow down to enjoy the journey?

It's a great advise and good on you whoever that young guy.
Nice capture.

but the man sleeping in the chair cannot enjoy the journey since he is asleep. To enjoy you need to be awaken, spiritualy if possible

Great catch indeed.
The exec took the wise advise on board, he is enjoying a cool music piece on his MP3 and must be far far away from the Daily Newspaper crazyness rythm of the SMH lobby...

Very good Friday catch: to get ready for a peaceful weekend...

This is an interesting post because I used to hear that Sydney was a place where people are always on a rush or driving like there is no tomorrow but after seeing this poster, perhaps not everyone is in a rush - I like to slow down on the weekends and go out to nature when I can =)

In this life, they, the people that lives there up want to see us run, desperate, hurry up. And life passes by, and we don't realize. We must take a breath, and enjoy the journey. Good message Nathalie!!!!

Thanx for sharing with us

No worries, there. My life has come to a halt in the last five or so years. It's enjoyable and alarming at the same time to live so slowly. One cannot rush weaving.

Include me in the sentiment, but personally I'm afraid if I slow down any more I'll topple over from lack of momentum
