Restaurant with a view

Monday, 7.30 am on Circular Quay. After a rainy weekend, here's the dawn of another grey day. At this early hour the restaurants are still closed, but the tables are already set for dinner tonight. Hopefully the tourists will turn up despite the poor weather.

I love the composition of this shot. The orange floater adds so much to it. I'm sorry about your lousy weekend. I hope you're having/had a good day today.

Hello Nathalie,
it`s raining there, but I think it`s a good thing now. I read, that Australia has suffered about a dryness !
Your photos are always so well
designed!
Have a nice, warm summer week!

Well according to my world clock it is about 12:35am there....and it is already tomorrow. So...when you get up in the morning I will have said this yesterday...

Thanks for dropping by for a visit. Always love photos of the opera house. An obvious landmark for Sydney. And the previous post's Pelican photo is really great. Made my eyes twitch back and forth, whatever that means. I think it was those yellow eyes.

Look forward to future visits and will have to do further research to figure out how a French girl got to Sydney. :)

Hi Nathalie,

It's raining here in the south central US also. I send you wishes for a snug and happy day.

Yes, it's raining here in Portland, OR too. Good day for sweaters, soup and a book. I love how this photo appears B+W with only the sky blue and orange LP in color. Thanks for visiting too!

thanks for the lovely comment =) it would be great if everybody is more conscious of the consumerism problem around the world.

Odd, you say poor weather but the reflection looks beautiful. I wonder if having the Opera House in a picture always makes the surroundings and atmosphere look good. Wasn't able to rhyme like you did in your post but I'll definately be returning....

Beautiful. Almost looks like a "selective color" image because of how the orange "Pops"!

Hi Nathalie,

Thanks for stopping by! This is a really nice shot. In addition to the orange of the rescue ring, I love the soft light and clouds in the reflected sky. I can't wait to get to Australia someday and see it myself!
