Sweet Valentine, smile!

Valentine Day today - Isn't this a sweet little couple? I found this chalk drawing in Hyde Park on a late afternoon a few weeks ago. I remember there was a storm the following night, I remember thinking that the drawing would quickly be washed away. I remember asking myself whether this couple's love would last beyond the first storm...
Now another thing. Look closely : She's got a little heart drawn over her breast. For him the heart is located....hmmm, much lower ! It really made me laugh! Any thoughts about that?

Well, I've heard that the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach (and beer and sports and the control of the remote), but apparently I was misled ;-)

Happy Valentine's Day to you, Nathalie!
Thanks for your visits and kind comments on my blog. And, no, I was not insulted by any of them - I know you are French, so I make allowances ;-))))))))))))))))))

Hmmmm? Wonder who drew this and their reasons for the heart placement? Funny but cute too.

L'homme pudique existe.

Well, perhaps their hearts are in the right places, as the olde saying goes!! Great photo for today!

Oh you all made me laugh...
I loved Olivier's suggestion that the boy's heart was just a large belt buckle and HPY's interpretation that it was a vine leaf !!!

Keropok, no, I did not draw this!

I actually believe a man drew this, but it's my own personal feeling, I may be totally wrong...

Cergie, I accept the challenge (Six weird things about myself) but you'll have to wait a bit because tomorrow is a Theme Day for French Expatriates that I plan to participate in for the first time.

Did you and your husband have a wonderful day? Did you build another boat?

interesting post from a literal and figurative point of view - if a couple can last through the first storm then I guess they have the resilience to last through many more but too many storms can slowly weather the chalk that binds and in time that relationship will nothing more than the mere remnants of an existence from the past. =)
