Walking up King Street I noticed this man with a striking tattoo on his arm; I stole his picture from behind. Tattoos are very popular in Australia for men and women alike and I'm amazed to see how mainstream it has become. Is that a fairly global trend throughout the Western world ?
For a different style of tattoo, visit Newcastle-upon-Tyne (UK) Daily Photo : Chris had a camera tattooed on the back of his neck!
By the way, most barber shops in the city offer A$10 men's haircuts. How much is a haircut in your country ?

Yes, tattos here in the USA are also becoming more prevalent.
Lot's of them here in Barcelona. Small mainly. But every now and then you see someone like that guy in the picture.
average price = $15 =)
This mand doesn't look like he needs a haircut, though - or did he just have one?
cool tattoo.
the price i pay at my hairstylist is 5KM or €2.5 and that's only for cut, not bad hay..
I hate tattoos & would never have one. By the way, my haircuts are free, as my wife does them!
$4.00 haircuts at Gosford TAFE, with a shave tossed in for good measure if you want one; but there's no provision there for tattoos.
I wonder what the dot point style that is blanked out was?
Ah Sally you spotted it. I looked closely because I was curious too.
It was "we also cut and style WOMEN's hair"
They stopped looking after women altogether, so they just got rid of the word WOMEN.
Tattoos are very popular for many many people under 40 or those retired from the military. I've seen more than a handful of people with "full sleeves" of tattoos. Haircuts - Average price for MEN probably about $15 but for women more like $25 or more.
A man would pay 15 Euros for a shampoo plus an hair cut
Tattoos are very common here too, although I have none and don't plan on any. I don't know the price of a haircut, I have cut my own for years!
