Sydney by Coke

"The most refreshing destination on earth"
The black fizzy drink that generates obesity at an alarming rate can be found worldwide. This particular ad, only in Sydney. To put it mildly, I have no affinity with the product, but I do find the ad graphically attractive. Coca Cola has a very strong visual presence in the streets of Sydney, Pepsi almost none.
And if I jumped from Asian cuisine yesterday to the famous American soft drink today, it's because many Australians wouldn't mind having the two together. Sigh...

I just wonder how Coca Cola managed to get the right to use a Sydney icon to commercialy promote the so American way of life/drink...

coca cola's ads are okay but i find them more and more lacking originality - pepsi killed them in this aspect

I'm prefer Pepsi. I have for as long as I can remember. It has nothing to do with the taste. It's just that I am a contrarian and don't follow the crowd.

Good one, I hope they don't find Auckland just so refreshing... but if they do, I'll post it right away :)

wow - that is some impressive proclamation by the ad company and I am sure Sydney deserves all the kudos for its range of attractions from the natural to the man made =)

bv...probably $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

And images of public buildings aren't copyright to the best of my knowledge. Might be wrong, in which case, I'd say Answer A.

Hadn't thought about it til you pointed it out, nathalie (the relative absence of Pepsi. There are some billboards, but you're right...far less presence. Always has been)

Nathalie, thanks for your comments on my Transnational Series. I just realized I miss the soft drink corporation on my series.
