Down the gully

Among Sydney harbour's numerous beaches, many have discreet accesses along paths and steps going down deep shaded gullies. Huge fig trees, fern trees, palms, vines and wild seeds of all sorts grow there in total freedom. I love these tiny wilderness capsules. I captured this bright green branch against a dark wall in one of them, in Mosman.
See the big picture through the eyes of Pod in his photo dated 24th Dec. Greetings, Pod. This photo is specially dedicated to you.

Walking around Mosman area is one of the great Sydney things to do - I ,ove catchinga ferry to Mosman bay then walking to Cremorne. This is a really lovely photo - you can feel the coolness of the gully. Brava!

Beautiful magical picture. It really is a "summer" type shot. Not like so many parts of the world now.
