I've rushed to this cake shop, Sweet Art in Paddington, to choose a cake for Edwin. Which one do you think I should take? Pluto the dog, the three-tier all white very formal one, the flowers and stripes, or the very cheeky Superman handbag? Quick, help me chose and I'll bring the cake to the party!

C'est un grand jour de l'autre coté de l'océan : mon ami Edwin célèbre aujourd'hui un an de photos quotidiennes à Kuala Lumpur en Malaisie. Bravo Edwin et bon anniversaire a KLDP !
Du coup je me suis précipitée dans ce magasin spécialisé dans les gâteaux pour grandes occasions, Sweet Art à Paddington, pour lui acheter un gâteau. En France, on s'intéresserait surtout au goût mais ici on travaille avec une génoise de base et tout est dans la déco sur le dessus... autre culture ! (est-il besoin de préciser que je préfère nos pâtisseries ?) Mais bon, allez, vite, on choisit un gâteau et on se retrouve là-bas pour la fête ? Lequel on prend ? Le chien Pluto, la pièce montée blanche, le multicolore à fleurs et à rayures, ou le très coquin sac à main de Superman ?

Perso j'aime beaucoup le sac à main Superman.. tout un symbole eheh !! Les forêts noirs, millefeuilles tartes au citron meringuées et autres tartes tatins en te manquent pas trop ?!

To answer your question about my St. Pat's Day photo, the photos I posted were from a smaller, local parade last weekend. The big parade in Manhattan will be on March 17.
I like the traditional three tier cake. :-)
But we should all wait for Edwin to choose.
My favourite cake shop!!! Oh Nathalie, how did you know? Did you know they once mad a Kermit and Miss Piggy in a bathtub cake? It was fabulous!

Just like Pod and the majority of the voters tonight I feel there was only one possible answer: Superman's handbag;
Achieving a full year of posts is no mean feat so you definitely qualify as a Superman, and then there's an allowance for the feminine in you, plus I was sure you'de be one to enjoy the twist !

Sorry I am too late. I would have "guessed" Superman because it does take some steel nerves, I guess, to come up with something interesting every day for one year.
