After the party

Reflections again, one of my treasures. Walking alone in the historic quarter of the Rocks before dawn. The sun hasn't hit the street yet. The beautiful lanterns of a waterfront restaurant, which have remained turned on all night, dangle onto the brick facade across the empty street. I am the only witness.

Amazing shot - floating pumpkins!

The post begs 2 questions: what were you doing, walking solo just before dawn ;-)

Fantastic image! I adore the warm hues and contrasting shapes. This has a pleasant, playful feel to it. Like a dance.

Isabella, your 2 answers:
- just going for a very early morning walk, I'm not a late party-goer at all
- yes, Jing's Chinese Lantern Festival is an absolute dream come true!

Just fantastic! I find that some of the best moments, photographic and otherwise, are found before dawn. Good for you! This photo is a treasure.

BTW, you are the ONLY commenter at flying who sounded like you wanted to be there at the beach in ice and snow too!
