Hot day in the rocky desert

A drink, a drink please, I beg you! In this rocky desert, water is everywhere - but it's salty. Taken yesterday, this lone man
on the rockshelf at Terrigal tried to protect himself from the sun by wrapping a shirt around his head. His dog walking ahead of him sent the seagulls flying. All along the coast, rock platforms like this one are very popular with fishermen (a few of them each year get taken away by rogue waves). The naturally sculpted rock formations on the right are a photographer's delight.

"Water, water, everywhere,
And all the boards did shrink;
Water, water, everywhere,
Nor any drop to drink."

It's been years since I've thought of these lines, but your comments reminded me of them. The scenery is fabulous.
